Prepare for Your Appointment

When preparing for your appointment, you might find the tools below helpful. They are from the Ida Institute, a Denmark-based nonprofit organization focused on person-centered hearing care.

Using these tools is optional, and not all tools will be helpful for every client. Some might be more helpful for people who communicate in spoken languages. But with creativity, they can be used for other communication goals. You might try thinking of the word “communication” in places where a tool says “hearing”.
